Monarto Zoo Day Spa is a sensory retreat shaped by rich texture, material depth, and a deeply immersive spatial experience.
Built by Longview Contracting and designed by Genesin Studios, the day spa has been conceived as a tranquil, enveloping environment that encourages calm and restoration from the moment of arrival. Heavy textured Russian Stamp Venetian plaster has been applied throughout the corridors, walls, and ceilings, creating a sculptural continuity that softens the architecture and enhances the spatial experience through depth and movement.
In contrast, the waiting areas introduce a refined balance of texture and restraint. Quartz carpet flooring grounds the space, while marmorino Venetian plaster finishes to the walls and pillars add subtle variation and tactility. Light interacts gently across the plastered surfaces, reinforcing a sense of quiet luxury and timelessness.
