coopers brewery, regency park

Adelaide's new + most prestigious Coopers Brewery + Visitor Centre redefines contemporary design by blending industrial + artisanal elegance with its curvy structures, and contrasting Venetian Plaster finishes to perfectly showcase the craft of brewing.

Located on the site of Coopers Brewery, the building, designed by Studio Nine Architects, includes a restaurant, bar, private tasting room, interactive museum, outdoor plaza, microbrewery, and whisky distillery, along with underground barrel storage.

The concrete spiral staircase, which serves as the centrepiece of the building, guides visitors through the space with a sense of grandeur. Completed in a Natural Concrete Venetian Plaster, its seamless, polished finish and carefully shaped curves enhance the flow and elegance of the design—a true testament to the craftsmanship of our artisans, further emphasising its sculptural form.

Throughout the interior, bathrooms feature jet black ceilings finished in Natural Stone Venetian Plaster, while the sink’s blade wall and floors are clad in Quartz Carpet—seamlessly blending industrial and contemporary elements to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Externally, off-form concrete panels are flawlessly colour-matched to the building’s curved design, preserving its rugged industrial aesthetic while ensuring visual consistency and durability. Collaborating closely with BUILT, Studio Nine Architects, and Studio Gram for interior design, the final result merges Coopers’ rich brewing heritage with their innovative venture into whisky distillation.
