Project Carrara is a considered residential interior defined by calm tones, refined detailing, and timeless materiality.
Designed by Georgie Shepard Interiors and built by The Building Company, the project balances architectural restraint with warmth and texture. A neutral palette forms the foundation of the home, allowing form, light, and material to take precedence, while subtle curves and softened transitions create a sense of flow throughout the spaces. Venetian plaster has been applied throughout, adding depth, tactility, and a quiet sense of luxury to the interior surfaces.
Natural stone, timber, bespoke joinery, and layered finishes work together to elevate the home with understated sophistication. The use of Venetian plaster enhances the material narrative, softening walls with a natural movement that shifts beautifully with light. Every element has been carefully resolved, with craftsmanship and proportion at the forefront, resulting in a home that feels cohesive, elevated, and enduring.
